We would like to begin by saying welcome to Jewell Academy! We are so excited for your child to begin their educational journey with us.

All key information, letters and dates will be shared on this page.

We will be writing to all new parents in the first two weeks after Easter break to welcome you and your child.

Wednesday 11th June 2025, 5:30pm – 6:30pm – Welcome to Reception evening for parents only.

This is an informative evening about beginning school at Jewell Academy. You will find out which class your child is in and be able to give a preferred date for your child’s home visit.
Wednesday 2nd July 2025, 9:30am – 10:30am – Stay and Play sessions.

Your child will go to play in their classroom with their teacher. Parents and Carers will join together for a tea and coffee morning to meet some of the staff and to get to know one another! This will be an opportunity to complete essential paperwork, sign up for your child’s hot dinners and have the opportunity to buy some pre-loved uniform.

Home Visits will be conducted in the Summer term. Your child must be present for this home visit.
Sharks class: Tuesday 14th July and Wednesday 15th July
Turtles class: Wednesday 9th July and Thursday 10th July

Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd – Inset day, school is closed.
Thursday 4th & Friday 5th September 2025 – 8:45am – 12pm

Children will attend full-time from this date. 8:45am – 3pm.
