On this page, you will find multiple phonics resources to help you at home.
Lexia (also available as an app) is an outstanding resource when it comes to phonics. Not only is this an interactive resource that your child can access independently, the data generated from your child’s usage is used to create personalised activities and material. What level can your child achieve?
Reading at home has never been easier with Bug Club. This website contains an indepth library of books for all abilities and will ensure that your child has access to the correct reading level.
Available on BBC iPlayer, Alphablocks is a helpful resource for reinforcing phonics sounds and skills such as segmenting and blending.
Phonics play is a free resource that contains many games that are designed to help children complete the Phonics Screening Check. Games such as Buried Treasure and Picnic on Pluto require real and nonsense words to be read.
If your child enjoys watching videos, Youtube may be a preferable option. Below are a few videos and channels that help with phonics.
